I recently bought an Audio Technica 897 shotgun mic. I then spent $25 on a 50 foot audio technica xlr cable. The cable worked fine for the past couple months, but right in the middle of a shoot recently, it failed me.
I have always been told good quality cables make a world of difference, and now I see why. I plan on spending $50-$60 on a cable half the length (25').
Any suggestions?
