HF S10 vs HV40

I need help deciding to get a HF S10 or a HV40. Which would one would you recommend and why?

This thread would largely be applicable to this situation.

The S10 is a great camera, and has an even higher resolution sensor than the HG20 I talked about in the above thread, but shares almost all of the advantages of it I mentioned.
