Need camera advice

Im kinda new here and im trying to decide on what camera to buy. so far ive been thinking about getting the sony trv900 but i need a second opinion.

If you want my advice I'd say go for the Canon HV30. I don't have but I know alot of people have one and love it. The trv900 been out for while and I dont really know much about but I would say the HV30. It not too expensive either. Hope this helps.
