I think the junior, senior member rank is based on how many posts you have made.

The 1969 date appears to be a default setting. Why 1969, I have no idea. If you look at the members list, you'll see alot of that date. Those are the people who signed up but never actually logged into the forums. Some of them may also be inactive test accounts from when the forum first went live. As for the member status, it does indeed change based on your post count.

30 posts and your a member and 100 posts and your a senior but it doesnt matter what your rank is, people treat you equally (so please dont spam!)
@: syxxgage: yeah there are 808 members who havent been on in over 37 years!

I think Ciwi was just giving you a tip, not actually claiming you spammed.
Spam is bad, unless you mean the food, in which case Spam is very tasty. Spamming a forum could be a multitude of things. Making multiple successive posts in the same thread within second of each other. Making duplicate threads in different forum categories. Making posts that are way off the thread topic. Bumping up your posts because no one replied to you fast enough. There are lots of way to be labeld a spammer.
Check the Annoying Forum Habits (http://forum.indymogul.com/showthread.php?t=2473) thread to get a better idea of what not to do.
Remember to make use of your edit button for your posts if no one has replied to it yet and you feel you need to add something else.
Also remember to use the Search button as well to see if a topic has already benn covered before you make a whole new thread about it.

HAHA. Spam is when you make a post that is off topic, have multiple posts either of the same thing or replying to yourself (note the edit button in the bottom corner of your posts). Or posting mutiple threads (topics) in different sections of the forum.
Spam is bad!
EDIT: woah...I was WAY late on that!

I am wondering how you can be so 'new' if you have roughly 60-some posts to date.
HAs it been a while since you were last here and forgot you were already a member?
Anyway, you should advance to Senior Member when you hit 100 posts. Don't know how or why 100 was choosen, it actually seems low, but that's what the default setting is for vBulletin, which is the software used for this forum.

:steve::steve::steve: You must become one with the posts. :steve::steve::steve: (as in if you get to 100 posts your a senior like me!)

Spamming is when instead of using the "Edit" button you make multipul posts like:
HI
I'M
MATT. Or you just post random things, it's SERIOUSLY annoying.
