where can i buy custom patches for cheap? i have looked around but i cant find anything for cheap its all expensive.

Even with the machines, it's still a bit of a process to turn a design into a design that can be embroidered. That's probably what you're paying for.

If your patches won't be shown really close-up, you might get away with silk-screened patches, rather than embroidered.

Maybe Threadbanger would have better ideas.

For my Sci-Fi short film I just drew them in microsoft paint and printed them out on sticker paper I bought at the office supply store. Here's how they came out

You WILL NOT be able to get real patches made cheaply, and silk screen will also be expensive for the initial run (Unless you know someone with the equipment)
