I'm addicted to celtx. Just google it, I don't know the exact site. They also have a really helpful forum.

The best free scriptwriting program is a pirated version of Final Draft 7.

why in the world would i ever tell them that?

"hey guys, look what I wrote on my pirated version of final draft!"

vs.

"hey look at my script. I wrote it using final draft."

I think I'll go with the latter, sir.

stop being illogical. it's a complete waste of time.

I know, that's why I gave it.

Every post you make is so illogical, whether it be your "demolition derby" post or your telling producers that your using pirated software.

None of it makes any sense at all. It's quite annoying. I don't think you have the slightest idea of what rational thinking is. Which probably explains the post you made in the "what editing software is good that's less than 50.00" thread.

I used Final Draft, but I got Celtx and it was so amazing, I never went back to Final Draft.

really?! wow it really is as amazing as i think it is, i just thought i loved it too much hahaha, its got EVERYTHING you'll ever need for a scrip, even a shooting schedule, character bio, prop list, it goes on and on.

At the moment just use word, sure its a bit of a mission to format and all that but hey i just cbf doing anything else atm, maybe for my next script

I just checked out the page for Celtx, and I must say it looks very impressive. In my screenwriting experience though, I've simply been using Microsoft Word for the past five or six years, and it has worked just fine. Once you get through establishing your formatting and hotkeys, it becomes really easy to write with. You can even set it so that it knows to switch to Dialogue format after you type in a Character, for example.
