Good Production Company name?

My 2 friends and I are starting a youtube/film company and we need a good name. We want Productions, Pictures, or films to be at the end. We are going to make Comedy, Horror, and action films and want a good name.

Nothing too cliché. Something simple that has meaning for you and your two friends. Something vaguely cryptic yet simple. And don't use Hallucinogen Films. I'm reserving that one. :o)

The mistake a lot of people make (including me), is making a studio name before they make any movies. I'm not saying you can't, but i'd make some films first. I'm going to trash Globeversal Pictures because it was actually just a joke at first.

Maybe it's a decision he doesn't take lightly and wants to consider all options before committing to a name.

It seems like a new trend. I think its gotten to easy to get what you need on the forums. It's gone from complicated special effects to names. the world is one lazy place

If I had my druthers, people would be barred from using a production company name until they actually get paid to produce content. Call it a "film group" if you're in it with a bunch of other people, but don't call it "Productions" or "Studios." Work on getting a professional image and audio before you worry about making it seem "cool."

Come up with smething unique. Take a look around you and select from there. Way back when, One of our number was creating a title card to list musicians. The card was partially copleted and said:

Someone else, in a fit of lack of sleep finished it by making it read: Also Perfo Mucho.

That became the name of our group for 10 years! Imagination is a wonderful thing. Use it!

The only way to save your group from certain destruction is to temporarily call it "Movie Club" until you have made at least 90 minutes worth of movie. Then, name your club after an inside joke that will naturally originate from the shared experiences of that production.

Wow. If you can't agree on a name, how are you going to make a movie together? Now, healthy deliberation is important for any movie, but this is not a good sign.

thats what i keep saying (globeversal was a spoof of universal). I know for a fact like half the people here are under 15, and there friends probably aren't filmmakers. All i'm saying is, if there not helping, you deserve the credit.

I like it. Simple, and to the point.

Just call yourself "the Crew" or "My Crew". Then come up with a name later. I made up my name years ago when i was making comics. I needed a company name so that i looked official, and so i went with White Fox Comics. Then I got into filmmaking and kept the name but switched comics for films.
