my birthday is coming up and i was wondering if a mac mini would be good for editing and using Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash on. I would be getting the $599 i just wonder if thats enough ram.

It's adequate. I wouldn't call it good or great, But it'll get the job done. 1GB of ram is going to be very limiting. If you do get the mac mini, I highly recommend upgrading to the full 4 gb of ram supported.

Yeah the 1gb RAM isn't so great. A 2.0 Ghz processor is good enough. The 120GB harddrive is rather small though. You can always get a external though.

I have a mac mini at home that I do a fair amount of FCP and AFX work on. I believe I got the faster processer and a decent amount of RAM. Honestly it was very expensive, probably overly so, and if you're just looking to do edits you can find a cheaper solution. I live in NYC and just hate large sized things that take up too much room, so I shelled out the extra cash.
