I got like 600 something movies and they are all inside the DVD players... I can take a picture of the players :)

Most of mine I pared down by putting into binders and tossed the cases... several hundred, not counting VHS that I haven't transfered (got a very rare documentary about voudoun from like the 50's that was released on VHS in the early 90's for like 5 minutes that I need to dig out and burn onto DVD before the tape loses all magnetic signal).

And that's just consumer dvds...got spindles of stuff I burned from broadcast.

I have about 700-800. (I got like thirty since the last time I updated MovieCollecterz) I mean to guys on here that's probably nothing but when my friends come over they think it's insane...

No, but it looks good. The one I'm talking about was shot in Haiti in the 50's or 60's. Can't remember the director's name.

Would it be embarassing to admit that my 'movie collection' consists of Star Trek TOS (entire series and films), Star Trek TNG (entire series), Red Dwarf and the first season of Gargoyles? I also have a Spock Prime action figure, if we're following MetalAlien's lead.

By the way, if any of you kids haven't seen Gargoyles, watch it. It'll explain why people my age are such manly men compared to you sissies.

Plus 5 of those are from a Ray Harryhousen special collectors box set.

oooh do you have the unreleased "Quiet Desperation"?

Think the ad line was:

"They killed his family, burned his house, and stole his car... and he's sitting back and taking it!"

That said, he delivered one of the more cryptic threats ever in "Above the Law":
"I'll come back and kill you in your own kitchen".

I got to kill him in an episode of "Las Vegas", which was actually a first of sorts: it's Jeane Claude Van Damme, the actor, playing Jean Clause Van Damme, the actor, in Vegas to shoot a movie. Someone trying to kill his stuntman sabotages the safety harness for a stunt where he drives a motorcycle off the roof. At the last minute, Jean Claude decides to do the stunt himself...and is killed.

I don't think I've ever seen a star portray themselves being killed.

That said, i also was tasked with digitally removing/reducing/hiding that big honking goose-egg on his forehead.

Yikes... reel it in there bucko. Someone's feeling their cinematic manhood being threatened apparently. Not the size but the quality, huh?

No worries - I'm sure you've got plenty of personality to compensate.

Now I really can't wait to see this collection... and remember, you begged for it.

I have this mini video collection (4 discs with about 5 movies on each) of Terrible no name "Horror films" I bought for like a dollar at Best buy some years back. one is from the 50's, the rest range from the mid to late 60's through to the late 80's.They're, of course, bad but that's why I got them. about half are so hilarious at how bad they are, the others are just boring.

I haven't bought a dvd in a while due to financial reasons but I have started a little VHS collection. At less than a dollar a pop I think everyone can afford to own a copy (or 2) of Armageddon.
