For all you politically immersed people like me.
Who do you want for president? McCain, Obama, Hillary?
Personally, Mike Huckabee

I think Bush should run for a 3rd term, I know he gets a lot of shit but he is seriously one of hte better presidents

I'm definitely leaning towards Dr. Ron Paul, or General Wesley Clark.
I'm not a Bush hater, but he has lost a lot of opportunities for true greatness during his term.

I would love to see Ron Paul get it. Sure, he is sort of bat shit insane with his wacky conspiracy theories about how there is a secret plan to build a road. But, when it comes to foreign relations, he has a long, long history of getting it right. If you watch some of his old interviews from his '88 run where he discusses the Soviet Union, it's pretty clear that everybody thought he was an idiot, but he got it pretty much spot on. In the current situation, he is once again taking a reasonable, calm approach based on understanding our enemies rather than "Ph34r Teh Evil Terrrists!" And, he clearly has a broader view of history than any of the other candidates I've heard speak. (For example: He's still the only candidate I've heard mention the '54 overthrow of the Iranian government to re-install the last shah in any of the debates, which was a pretty significant example of American interventionist policy in the middle east.)
On domestic policy, there is a ton of points where I disagree with him personally, but his view is that the federal government has no authority in most such matters. So, he would wind up cutting huge swaths from the federal government, acting as a sort of political reset switch on governmental scope creep. Which, frankly, is desperately needed, and we won't have another opportunity as good as we have now for a long time if we don't act directly.

The more I pay attention to the democrats, the more I want to vote republican. None of them look any good. I think Huckabee. That may just be because he's a bass player and so am I...and he did a commercial with Chuck Norris.
