Anyone else go see it? We got there for the 10pm show, but it was sold out. We ended up getting the 12:15, and my ticket says October 17, which bugs the hell out of me. But aside from that, it was the best day of the year. My sister made Max's hood for all of us, and we were getting compliments all day. Someone even tried to buy one off us.
How was your moving going experience?

This movie was incredible.
Admittedly it was not at all what I expected, which was a feel good run through fields freedom flick. That said, it was even better for it. Regardless of the source
material, this is definitely not a kid's movie. Sure, a kid can appreciate the "big
monsters" and the childish fun things they do, but there's a lot more to the film
than a child can understand...or maybe its exactly what they can understand, and we can't. After all, the monsters themselves are basically giant hairy (or feathery)
kids, aren't they? I could go on and on about the deeper meaning in this movie, but I won't unless some one asks me to. The movie has everything. Yes it has those great
"freedom" scenes and although certainly not a comedy, it hs its funny moments. Most
of the humor is us laughing at what kids d, what we used to do. Spike Jonez made this movie absolutely brilliant. Four Stars.

Just saw it a few hours ago. It was totally awesome, but yeah. It wasn't really for kids. I mean, kids could see it, there's nothing bad in it ( Except for the arm getting ripped off ), but it's not really a kid's movie. It was very well made though, the costumes were amazing.
