I might be taking my monthly trip to Best Buy to get a couple of DVDs, and I'm out of ideas as to what to buy... (well, technically get for free because I've racked up so many RewardZone points, but that's a different story.)
Anyways, I was wondering if there are any old, underrated indies that I should see and I figured the good people at indymogul would be able to help me out here.

I know a couple but I don't think they'd have CD's at Best Buy.
But you might be able to find these: Kimya Dawson, Andrew Jackson Jihad, The Mountain Goats, Beirut, Grizzly Bear, Regina Spektor.
All those bands have had a certain degree of fame, so you might be able to find them at Best Buy.

Oh, I didnt specify I meant FILMS haha...but thanks for the music info, I'll have to look those up too.
Haha. Also, you're going to kind of end up with a narrow balancing act here. You want stuff that's "unheard of indies" but they still have to be popular enough that they'll be at a Best Buy.
I don't think I've ever ended up buying obscure indie movies at a Best Buy. Last time I was there, I think I bought The Dark Crystal and The French Connection. So I'm not exactly buying this year's summer blockbusters either.

Oh haha, my bad. I reread your post, and you did say DVD's so, yeah, my fault. Well at least you got some CD's that might be interesting...
