Lately, I have been moving away from cardboard/posterboard props and looking on making more durable builds. I came across Isopon p38 which when applied to a product, creates an easily sandable plastic shell.
Has anyone used this at all? Anything I should know about it? Is there a better sort of product like this? Should I have a mask? Can I apply it to posterboard or rigid insulation foam?
Thanks in advance.

I haven't used it, but I know that wall spackling (I think that's what it's called?) does the same thing.

I have used Wood filler before (similar to wall spackling), I hear this is pretty much the same thing. The only difference is that this gives a plastic like coating, rather than a plaster like one.

Yeah, I don't know what to tell you then. I use wood filler or wall spackling when I need stuff like this. I think those are good because they can be sanded down easily and since they are slightly rough, it's easy to paint, too.
