does the Canon EOS Rebel 300D also record video?
or any other Canon Rebels for that matter?

if it doesn't, was is another camera like that for around the same price that does?

If you want a Rebel to use for video, I suggest the T1i (500D?), or maybe the new Pentax K-X.

That's what you have to be careful about. Some of these DSLR/video cameras shoot at weird frame rates.

At full 1080p, ya, but its 30fps 720p mode looks great, really, really crisp video. The other cam i listed does 24fps at 1080p, i believe, but it uses Motion jpeg, so it mnay be harder to edit.

No, the 300D is the Rebel XT. The T1i is probably what you want. Best Buy should be having that on sale for Black Friday.
