It's a sad day in film making for me. I have this fairly well planed out idea for a film that I love calling "Human: A Zombie's Tale of Friendship." It's a dark comedy about a young zombie child who is a proud supporter of ZETH (Zombies for the Ethical Treatment of Humans.) He lives in a world where zombies are the dominant species and humans are raised as cattle to be slaughtered and consumed. Zeke is the main charter of the story and the inciting incident is when Zeke's father shows him books of the humans' past. Zeke falls in love with a evil historical figure, Adolf Hitler. He interprets all these different feelings of how Hitler did not take crap form anyone. Zeke ends up running away from home and camping in a near by wood. This is where he finds a cryogenically frozen human in a secret military base. He finally awakens the human and tells him about the past 50 years of Zombie History. They finally build up the courage and a friendship to do what is right and try to set free the humans from the cattle factories. Thus starting the Human Apocalypse.

Sounds like a cheesy SyFy movie. Hahaha. I just wanted to share this with you guys. Take the idea if you would like. =) I have tons of them. I just wanted to see if anybody wanted to do something with this. If you do all I ask is you throw in the joke "What do vegetarian zombies like? GRAIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNSSSSSSSSS!"

Thank you for your time. =]

No. Not even close. He is not trying to fight off or research on a disease that killed mankind nor is he trying to cope over the lose of his family. Thank you for trying to belittle me.

Wow! You're right. Oh wait..... nope, still not seeing what you're getting at. I mean to be real honest wikipedia is not the best place to get info. Anyone can simply go in and edit the text.

Wikipedia is relatively well moderated, and there are dozens of people whose primary interest is making sure that articles are factually accurate.

Regardless of the potential for inaccuracy, the article is very accurate and thorough in the information it provides in regards to the book.

In regards to your story in relation to "I Am Legend", I would point you in the direction of the last few paragraphs.

"Neville goes to his prison window and gets a glimpse of all the infected milling around in the yard waiting for his execution. When they spot him, he sees the fear, awe and horror in their eyes and he understands to them he is a scourge, just as they were a scourge to him at the beginning of the novel. Previously Neville saw the destruction of the infected survivors as a right and a moral imperative to be pursued for his own and mankind's survival, but now he finally acknowledges defeat. He is the only known immune human left in the world, the only survivor of the "old race".

He glimpses a future society where infection is normal and he, Neville, is a murderous biological deviant. As he turns away and swallows the pills, Neville grasps the reversal that has taken place and that just as vampires were legend in pre-infection times now he, an obsolete exemplar of old humanity, is legend in the eyes of the new race born of the infection. The sheer ridiculousness of it all causes Neville to chuckle as he dies, his last thoughts being "[I am] a new superstition (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superstition) entering the unassailable fortress of forever. I am legend.""

Those are the similarities that he is pointing out, it's about a man coming to grips with being a member of a dying paradigm, and having to surrender to a new post-human species that he saw as being monsters, but now inversely see him as the monster.

It's a commentary on new ways and new ideas overcoming the old, and how the idea of what a "deviant" person or idea is largely depends on the context that it's within.

But looking at a society that is turned upside down, you're largely dealing with similar concepts, as man becoming the monster in a society dominated by monsters.

Thank you for clearing that up with me. Alasdair just suggested that it was the book. I did not understand where she was coming from. My faults.
