Tell us whats the longest you have gone without sleep.

Mine was 72 hours me and my friend hyped up on red bull. Went to a mussem of history we were watching the history of the mayans....when all of a sudden they started talking to me. when you go without sleep long enough you see things.

hahahahahahahahaha

you fucking liar. Lasting damage starts happening after only 72 hours (3 days) without sleep. The military doesn't make you stay up for 9 days without sleep.

It'd be more logical (and safer) for them to make you drink alcohol until you passed out.

I'm not aware of any branch of the military that forces their members to stay awake longer than a few full days.

And all of the sleep deprivation training is done mostly in special forces. I have friends in the Marines and the Army, a friend of mine who went through training at Quantico, Virginia, wasn't 'forced' to stay awake, he just was forced to budget his time when they rested in the field.

He spent three days in the field during a training exercise there, and got a total of about 6 hours of sleep, and jungle rot, but at no time did they force him to stay awake for over a week.

i did not say forced to stay up but it was recommended very creatively to stay awake. it was shitty and jungle rot sucks ass it hurts like hell and you cant walk for almost a month depending on the seriousness of it.

After a week of no sleep, you would literally go insane. Nice try, buddy.

I know your kidding but, for just a fun fact: With two weeks of no sleep, your body would begin to shut down for the complete lack of energy to run on.

On one high school student...? You appearently don't know much about testing theories. Certain individuals can surpass average human endurance, it's not uncommon. That's why when they test things like this, they use many people.

and a high schooler is not trained for it like a marine is

For reference, this is the guy who thought that "average" described a range when used to interpret data

Yes you are right but my point is the re-animator can be one of those who can endure long periods without sleep.

Alasdair

so don't expect him to understand other things about data like anomolies compared to average results and what not

To clarify, I didn't say it wasn't possible, I said you would go insane.
