ok ok ok! Don't get mad at me. I searched and I did not see anything like this! Ok.... I have a Canon Elura 100, I have had it for about 2 years now. I am thinking I want to upgrade to a Canon HV20. I have been saving for a new camera. But I am not sure if the HV20 would be worth getting if I have the Canon Elura 100? If it is not worth upgrading to a HV20 what would be worth upgrading to? Thanks guys/gals!

Hah! I'm considering the same camera but I think that if you can still get lots of use out of the Elura, then use it. It's only 2 years old. My camera is around 4 years old, but is outdated in features (mic input). However, the HV20 might not be too bad a choice because HD is the future, as of February 09.

It's really a matter of what you want to accomplish. If you can get the job done with your current unit, hold off for a bit. If you require a function that upgrading to the HV20 will fix, you may have to go that road. The HV20 has also seen a significant price drop recently, and if you hold off, it may drop some more.
