Pre Broke bone , legg full of B-Gel, Glue fake blood and all covered with a thick layer of Selfane and Liquid Latex?
You don't have to say if I'm right, I'm just guessing cause I once used that method for halloween (Sept no B-Gel).
If it is, It should work awsomely!

No, but really, I can't wait till next Monday. The closest thing I've done to limb tear is a cheap rubber hand coming out of the end of my friend's long sleeved shirt. Heheh, it wasn't so bad with the correct sound effect, though.

this is gonna be soooo good, only problem in the UK is its not that simple to get hold of all the liquid latext, foam board type gear you use. DAMN YOU WALMART open a shop here dont just own shares in Asda that place sucks :( but really this looks very cool.

I know how you feel... the only way i have found so far to get most of the materials like that is ebay. but im lucky...my family is involved in the theatre and can get some of the more "elusive" things!

the test was a bit off, but the ripping flesh look can be apreciated and gave enough gore effect at that point.

he put the four pipes up throught the leg and filled the bottle with blood! when the leg was torn off blood was constantly leaking out of the leg!

Next time, construct the tendons from latex - pigment latex red and paint it on a mirror or similar, then rub it and efface it. The latex will bunch up and form long tendon-like strings.

I have a question about the soaking of the foam in liquid latex to give a skin effect.

Does that mean use a combonation of liquid latex and water to soak the foam? and if so, to what ratio should it be?

So, You and steve should do an Effects revisted(swar I didnt Steal from mythbusters!)Make it bi Monthly(or so) and you and steve can revisit effects to improve or add to the original effect!
You could allso use viewer submitted(didnt steal that one ither) ideas for quick builds, like finally show swords and guns so people would stop asking you guy's about it all the time, even though you have allready cover it!, and hell if you and steve can't do it Get like lee and Tim or some one else from the network to do it!, I'm thinking Zadi and Corrine...Aww, Zadi and corrine...WHAT?, Oh um....Sorry....*bows head in shame*lol
Maybe Chris and Mike?!??!

That would be a good idea for Indy Mogul. And the limb tear was pretty awesome!! I think this was awesome. Where do I get the foam for the fake skin? I'm gonna do the limb tear soon.
