Here is my Ghost Tutorial, tell me what you think. :)
theres your ghost effect.. as for a proton pack....yeah.....it might make a good episode but it wouldn't teach us anything new! go to a pound shop (I'm sure there called something else in America, basically a place were you can buy cheap semipliances (the kind of place where Erik got the stuff for the cyborg arm)) or a charity/second-hand shop and buy a mix of button/meter/switch like things, maybe something like vacuum cleaner tubing to connect to your gun, a box to go on your back, something to use as straps and some spray paint ... there you go! and hell if you are even the slightest bit technically savvy you can drill a few holes in the pack and wire up some L.E.Ds . the wires and battery can go in the box!
I don't now about other software but Adobe After Effects has the effects "beam" and two different fluctuating lightnings that can all be colorized. right there you've got yourself an effect that looks straight out of ghost busters!
Wow that went on longer than I expected...phew. anyway its nothing we haven't already been taught to do in previous episode. Now... saying this i might be squeezing the guys of shows they could use on specific builds like this so if the mods wanna go ahead and delete this post and make an episode answering ^his^ question in another way (or the same) feel free! Ill still be a fan...just a rightly p****d off one at the time i wasted.....*AHEM*
anyway... hope i helped!
DAMMIT now i have the ghostbusters song in my head
dunanunanunanuna ... ghost busters WAAWAWAAWAWAWAWAwuhWAAAAA.......
EDIT:And if you want the gun aswell... as Erik always says a toy gun praypainted is the easiest, cheapest and for this option (unless you wanted to go ahead and make it out of PVC parts and othe junk from the shop described above) Best!
sorry size on being the last size I used...my edits come out that size aswell
