Recently 20th Century Fox have been removing any videos on Youtube that have even the slightest bit of their content.

3 of my videos have been removed. So I'm banned!

The first vid was the Simpsons orignal trailer. I can understand that.

The second was a bunch of Family Guy Clips.

The third makes the least sense. I took the 1960s Spiderman Cartoon Intro (Which they don't own) and I put in a picture of Spiderpig over Spiderman and some soundclips of Homers Voice.
So I only took like 5 lines of audio and a picture.

So this is a warning, If you have any videos contaning anything that Fox owns. Remove it yourself. Don't leave it for 20th Century Fox to remove.

actually the only one that I dont understand is the trailer...why remove free advertising of your product and/or service?

the other two...yeah, I dont fault them for being overzealous in their control of their own intellectual properties

They can't (legally anyway) selectively enforce the law. They (copyright holder) can't decide that one unauthorized use is OK and then take down another. If they did then both parties would have cause for reconsideration due to inequitable treatment.

Yeah, make sure If you have any other Copyrighted Material, that you remove it yourself. Because if you get 3 removals you get Banned.

It seems 20th Century Fox did this because alot of people posted the recent Family Guy Star Wars Parody, and so they went to remove them all. And while they were there they removed everything else. Including 5 second Movies http://youtube.com/watch?v=3xipn6Dm_Tw

The thing that is pissing me off is They are cracking down on people who Sing Covers of Copyrited songs?!!?!?
To quote a profit(lols) What the Buck?!?!?
It is leagle to have a coverband and to proform shows, But you can't use them on youtube where you get no money unless your a partner or have the mogul kinda deal!
I just can't get, well any musical use really, I mean you have to have a hack program to download from youtube and you have to be good to remove just the song from the vid anyways!?!?
It's Bull!
Not to mention Viacom and it's million mini networks are attempting to destroy the greatest Advertising tool of the 21st century!
Dumb asses!, I just don't get why tribute clips that can do nothing more then advertise their products Are getting pulled, full shows and movies, yeah Isee why but clips and tribute vids I don't...

Just because you post a clip of Transformers dosn't mean your copying or scavaning it. You just want other people to see it. If I post a clip of Star Wars on YouTube people won't think it's mine and and I created it and get credit for it.

There is no difference (from a copyright standpoint) in the offense between posting a clip or the complete work, it is still an unauthorized use whether you are compensated or not. What is the definition of a clip...5 seconds, maybe 30? What about if we classify "clips" by the percentage of the total work, is 10% a clip, what about 50%? Neither is the whole piece so it is by definition a clip. Well if half a film is a clip then 99% is a clip. Ya see, you have to protect any little piece of the work or the whole law means nothing. When you don't have any IP (Intellectual Property) to protect, it's easy to say it's not fair and you mean them (copyright owner) no harm. But if they don't defend against a 1% clip they have no ground to defend against a 99% clip.

What if I put up two or three or more separate clips that together cover the complete film. Is that right?

Oh darn, I copied the above word for word from the US Patent and Trademark Office. How is that OK? Well, it is part of a work for hire document produced with my tax money, so it is in part mine (and yours). Also, I'm not claiming it as my work and I'm giving reference to the source so it can be verified.
