Well I'm Starting this with a question, Police Auctions !
For those who do not know, Everything the police take form the bad guys that is not needed for the trial and or needed for the police are all sold off as a way to get money for the departments, state and prisons.
They sell things like, cars, boats, tables, chairs, you name it they sell it!
So what I'm wondering is, there are a lot of crimes that involve Cameras and such So does anyone know if police Auctions ever sell those types of things?

Allso I don't think about what they(Cameras) were used for, I think about what they were made for!

Police auctions are a crap shoot. It's possible to find some film equipment, but I dont think it's likely

I've seen a lot of electronic equipment. They SOMETIMES keep them for evidence if they were used in a crime, like if they were used to film some freaks abusing children, or those sickos who film themselves beating up on Homeless People, etc.

But I mean, would you really WANT a camera that may have been used to film a snuff film or something?

I'm not really superstitious, but even I would feel unclean using a camera that was used to film kiddy porn or something.

Although, on the otherhand, some Drug Dealers go all out and buy the best equipment for everything, even if they never use it and the Cops just sell it.

You should find a way to use them in a film . Kinda like the scene in Better Off Dead with all the paper boys.

I got some to contribute. If you ever need really large amounts of cardboard Wal-Mart will give you cardboard for free. It's stuff that their products came in. It's really helpful for very low budget movies.

Well the way I see it is those cameras were made for what we people here(on this website) use them for, Capturing amoment in time or makeing cheep films, So I see it as those wastes of life were useing them wrongly, and I should use them for what they need to be used for!

I see it as giving them new lifes rather then thinking about what they were used for in the past.

And I am superstitious to a point But I am not gonna lose money cause some DouchBags use cameras For Evil Deeds...
