How do you make like, a countdown clock on your video, without just like filming your microwave counting down. Is there some kind of program????

THANKS!!!!photoshop make individual pics 0f a numer counting down and put it all together in in ur programs editing timeline

You could simply animate one. Make each number and superimpose it on your footage. For instance, put the number 10 on top of your footage for a second or two, then 9, 8, 7, etc.

most video editing programs have a timecode reader/generator plugin, make a movie of the time code, then export it, put it ontop of the footage and play it backwards.

in after effects apply Number effect!
its cool one! i just tried it and came up with cool tricks that can be used - like countdown, time freeze, clock went mad and so on....

remember 30 frames a second- have the image of the number there for 30 frames- and make it appear nstantly and then fade off at 15 frames so it gives it the flashing affect during the count down

Why can't you just videotape your microwave?
Doctor it up a little bit to get rid of everything except the numbers, change the color tint if you have to and BAM! Instant countdown.

I go with 25 fps...
But that depends...
Also I wouldnt have it flashing and fading... thats not really normal when you look at digital clocks...
