Girls love the accent.
Here people hear my accent and just think i'm retarded, because everyone from the South is obviously a mental deficient.
But those same people probably think Faulkner was a Yankee, if they even know who he was that is, so, meh.

An Aussie is a shortened form of Australian.
Its just a quick way to say someone is Australian. Like calling a New Zealander a Kiwi, or an American a Yank (Although in America we only call people from the Northern States Yankees, down here we prefer to be called Southerners).
