just like a psp except I have a touch screen, free games and homebrew is plentiful!!!

The only thing about the PSP is that the screen scratches easily but if you put a screen protector on it it is greeat!

They're not really DVD quality because of the low resolution of the screen. And yeah the graphics are better, but graphics aren't everything.

and the games are the ones that you can get for most things instead of just nintendo games.
Yeah, it has crappy versions of other games, while nintendo have their own games so they can build the games for that console, and so its not just a crappy port of a game.

The homebrew on the PSP is better though, thats the only thing I really ever used it for.

PSP has good grafix AND gameplay! :D
medel of honor on PSP owns! and DS games are so cheeby and the DS itself is very fragile.
i hit the top screen quite softly once and it snaped off! :nonono:
plus the picochat thing sucks camel crap, u need to be literally right next to the DS u want to connect with, i mean its so usless! why draw little pictures insted of just talking to them in person! :grumble:
and sims 2 on PSP is very interactive and open, the PSP is easy to clean and has a good game libary! :)

I like the PSP better. I had a DS since it came out but I bought a PSP a few weeks ago since I was tired of the games that were being put out for the DS. To me, the graphics makes a difference. If gameplay really was was the only thing that mattered people would buy one of those 9999-games-in-one and play tetris all day.

The other thing I like about the PSP is that it has expandable memory, so I can watch movies and listen to music on it too.

Ummm because tetris isn't as fun as games of now days....
and no gameplay isn't everything, but if you had a choice of a crap non-entertaining game that looked good and a fun less-graphical game, most people would pick the funner game, since they play games for fun, not so they have something good to look at...

Yeah, but not easily, right? You can't buy them in stores (at least I've never seen them in stores) so you have to pay extra for shipping. If it breaks or is DOA you have to ship it back for a new one, and even with all that out of the way the psp still has a bigger screen and better picture.

My sister owns a DS, had about an hours worth of fun with it honestly. With a PSP, you bored of the game your playing, well that's okay, just listen to some tunes, watch some flics or videos, browse through your pictures, or GO ON INDYMOGUL.COM thrugh the browser! :D

DS's graphics are amazingly bad, the games are short, gameboy-ish and children based, you look like a dork playing it outside your house, and 2 screens just bugs the crap out of me

And there you have it...gameboy-ish games are what fuel me!... I don't really care for brilliant graphics in a game...that being said, I understand how graphics are a compelling feature and I admire good graphics when I see them! BUT I probably would not use my ds I i didn't have a flashcard cause when I get bored of playing the latest release I can just switch to any of my 50 other games/ home brew, I can listen to music I watch south park and robot chicken on my ds and I can browse the internet too!.......LOL so basically I have a psp (worse graphics and a slightly smaller screen taken into account ( i don't really care))..with the kind of games I like and a touch screen that adds to some games

ps. (although I must mention that the touch screen is VERY annoying in some games)

EDIT: And for my ds and flash I still paid less than I would have for a psp (including postage from china (which is Ironic because the week after I got it, I went to china and found out the hotel I was staying in was less than an hours drive from where my supercard was shipped from!)

I missed this part...of course there the four ace attorney (I point out 4 to emphasize its popularity!) with which ive seen adults struggle to get past level 2

2 brain trainings and another coming out which are fun but useless if you are under the age of 20!

Not to mention LoZ, metroid and quake, need for speed, jam session, bleach: blade of fate, front mission,chrono trigger, snatcher, resident evil 4...the list goes on!!!

and I know the following titles are ridiculous but I assure you are real and certainly not designed for children:

jeez guys its not a question of which is actually better but which system has more fans on the site...it depends what you really want and whats important to you...what kind of games you like and what your willing to do. Im a ds fanboy myself but ill admit the psp has the upper hand when it comes to media quality...sure the ds can do it but its just not as good... and it never will be.... I dont care it does what I want and is cheaper!

theres no point getting in a row over little things cause it will just go in circles!

btw quake runs a hell of a lot smoother on my ds than those videos.....that was SHOCKING!!!:eek:
