Soooooo..... At the end of the #7 sundance episode, it show erik and justin and all of the good times they had. How did they make it look shiny like that, with all of the lights having streaks coming out of them and stuff? THanks

Stupid answer.
It looked like they added a posturize or HLS (HSL?) adjust. Just mess with light setting in you editing program.:)

I have a program called ProDAD Vitascene that comes as a free plug-in to Pinnacle Studio 11 Ultimate. It has a very versatile ray filter.
You can see what it can do here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0J1WgLIcKIs

I haven't watched it but I have had to do flashback sequences before. The way I do it is Photoshop a hazy white blur with transparency around the edge of the screen and just superimpose that above my footage.

Now you really think Indy Mogul uses pinnacle? No, they
use Final Cut.

Plug-ins would be easiest. The second option would be to stack a second duplicate of the video track on top of the first, apply a blur filter, then change the blending mode to "Add."

I didn't say that's how they did it. I was inputting my knowledge of a plug-in program that CAN do it. Chill out.
