I already know that im gonna upgrade to sony vegas pro, and get AE but should I get AE all by itself or get the whole production premium package:

You could save money by not buying Sony Vegas and editing with Premier Pro, which comes in the package. But better software isn't going to magically make your movies better.

Its true. The only plus side to spending money on editing software is that you get a few more effect and you get diffrent layers of video and audio. Windows Movie maker is a great program, I seriously dont know why so many people trash it, I hate it cause theres no 2 layers of video. or audio. Ill though i just thought while writting this, you have 2 layers of audio..... One narration line :D COOL

Never thought about that. But ya better editing software wont realy change your work. You gotta go and figure out how to change it, Not saying it sucks cause i realy dont know.

haahahahah, ITS TOTALLY WORTH IT, if you have the cash, but your really not missing out on much, like i dont use half the stuff is came with just photoshop, AE, and premeire. but you probable dont need all that just stick with AE and vagas

all the CS3 stuff is like the standard stuff but more ad-ons and a little more fetures
