if you are plugging your camera in using USB pick up a firewire cable and that should solve your problem

I thought Mac was adverstisng it was ready to accept all sorts of devieces for uploading.....

Good thing you didnt buy Windows, you probibly wouldnt be having this problem since its so straight forwards, Camera Firerwire, turn camera on.. Upload :D

Stupid macs

Stupid TacticalNinja. Macs can't do impossible things. But they do a crapload more than Windows. Windows ins't plug and play at all. You have to download software, install drivers, pay with your right arm, and it still doesn't work! oh well, that's why macs will rule the world.:D
