Hey guys!
I really need help! I am making a poster but I want to use a different font. How do I install fonts into after effects 6.5? Is there a kind of font i need to get?
Thanks!

if you're on a mac
just drag the fonts into your font folder in the "library" then re start AE, if you're on a a PC i have no idea.

in Windows you need to copy new fonts to Local Drive(C):/windows/fonts folder
then you see them in AE

Even if you have the answer already, someone down the road might have the same question. :)
1. Download the font.
2. You should have a .ZIP folder. Find that .ZIP folder and click "Extract All Files." (On my Vista there's a button at the top of the window for this, but for an XP you have to right click --> Extract Files.)
3. Now that you have the font file extracted, keep that window open and go to Start --> Computer Panel --> Fonts.
4. Now, drag the font file into the Fonts window, thus uploading your font!
5. Then, you may want to either (like nooneimportant said) restart AE or your computer.
