I'm pretty sure everyone has had at least one project that they have started but never finished for one reason or another. I thought it would be interesting to talk about some of the projects you could never seem to get off the ground.
For me, I wrote a script for a movie called "Suede". It was a parody of the movie "Blade" with Wesley Snipes. Suede was a half vampire who during the day worked at a fabric store, but at night he would hunt vampires at fashion shows.
It never got made because of a few things.
1) It had a huge cast and I'd need hundreds of extras
2) Some of the stunts would be nearly impossible to do.
3) The fashion show costumes would cost way too much.
4) And I wrote the script too big to where I wouldn't be able to pull off most of the stuff I wrote.
What about you guys?

I dont think there is room for all the stuff I wanted/planned to do but never did... Procrastination beats out all the valid excuses I come up.
Thats why I dig Filmfights.com...gives me just the push I need to actually complete projects.

Yeah I know what you mean. My list of unfinished projects is rather lengthy also. Suede was just the first one that came to mind.
I started to make a horror slasher movie with my sister's friends called Blue Moon. We only got one scene shot of that film. Which sucks, cause it would have been really cool.

I have attempted to make a sequel to my Manhunt film numerous times. The script is fairly simple and the effects and actors would be easy to get. Only problem is I will have to set it at night (like midnight onwards) and my potential actors arent to happy with that. If i try and set it at day the street would have people and cars driving down it constantly which will wreck the atmosphere. Also I am still attempting to make a film about a bunch of lads (basically me and me mates) after they leave yr 11(I think thats like leaving High School in America they will be 16) and what they get up to. Most of me and me mates have jobs and so time is a MASSIVE issue. I may get them done one day but who knows.

I started a romantic comedy, but I stopped when I realized it wasnt funny or romantic. Me and a friend also thought up a horror movie about 13 years ago. We never got to actually write it... until now. I started it and hope to be submitting it to Troma sometime soon. Lloyd Kaufman is looking for a new script to work with according to the site.

I came up for with a few ideas for some exploitation trailers to make.
There was: Scoops of Death, a cautionary tale of one ice cream man versus a horde of zombie children who no longer scream for ice cream.
Chainsaw Samurai, an action packed hyperbole about the proprietor of an oriental cuisine ($1 chinese) restaurant, whose family is massacred by a triad gang and so he takes up, no not a sword, the gang destroyed his father's ancient samurai sword (but he's chinese not japanese!), so he takes up chainsaw to massacre his enemies.
And finally there was Vigilante Mailman. A mailman who was working for the mob in a drug smuggling ring decides he's unhappy with his cut and decides to massacre everybody else and take the whole pie.

a movie that i wanted to make was called "Metal Invasion". basically robots from another planet came and attacked a town in California, and this secret military base is sent to take care of them.
i had every thing i needed together, but the actors gave out literally last minute, leaving me sitting there, waiting for them to show up. and having to clean up every thing. and they also freaked out if i hinted that they might not be in the movie.
