It is good but if I had that much money I would spring for the HD version- the XH A1.

Correction, XH-A1 or XH-G1

You dont need the XH-G1, since i doubt you are using a linked timecode and such. all that it provides is the pro jackpack, which you dont need if you are going to buy the GL-2 The GL-2 is a great cam, but i would save for either the XL2 or the XH-A1

It is not worth it. It is very nice, but there are now newer, better, cheaper cameras.
