I notice with alot of the 48/5 films around where i live have issues with their sound. When they are inside they get this electronic hum noise or when they are outside they pick up too much of the background. Does any one have common fixes to either of these problems. Its a real turn off when i watch them. I like good audio. :D
-Thanks in advance

get a good external mic.
as for post-production, the easiest thing is to do a voice over. then add some of that great ambient noise

I watched Acceptable.TV and watch Channel101, so I keep up with what they produced.
Also I conducted an Interview with Dan Harmon (http://www.indymogul.com/post/4344/interview-dan-harmon-on-screenwriting), he was the guy behind the camera in the video. He wrote Heat Vision and Jack (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lWgXDOAJ5s) with Rob Schrab (Who Erik interviewed (http://www.indymogul.com/backyard-fx/post/835/indy-moguls-interview-with-dan-harmon-and-rob-schrab)
as well as Dan Harmon) Also he wrote the film Monster House (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qEaT6fNGOHw), works on the Sarah Silverman Program, and does stuff for Channel101, he is also working on a new Sitcom he is pitching to Fox.

I bought the ATR-55, but I still get that humming noise, I think it picks up the buzzing from the wires and the camera, and it's SUCH a good mic that whenever I move, it picks me up.
IT'S TOO GOOD!

I think there is a switch on it.
1. Are all electronics in the immediate vicinity turned off?
2. Check for a Hi-Ref or a Lo-Ref setting on the mic, or in your camera, mess with that.
