whos the author?
Aldous Huxley was one of the greatest author's of our time. He was almost a prophet. Brave New World is def one of my favorite books. I recommend it to anyone, its very short (like 300 pages on a small paperback?), and although Huxley has a bit of an eccentric use of language, its a very well-developed story. Im also a huge fan of his other works, allthough BNW is the best (id recommend Island to BNW fans).

It gets compared to WE, 1984, and Anthem a lot.
It's in the same vein of Dystopia fiction, but its quite different from Orwell's or Rand's visions of a doomed future.
Well in that case, we gotta plug Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451 as well.

I loved 1984, and I read BNW, but I didn't really understand it (although I'm 13 so what can you expect?)

I just didn't really follow the plotline about halfway in. I need to re-read it sometime, because I read it way too fast and it was at school so I couldn't really concentrate.
