Are there any fans of one of the most over looked films of 2007 Zodiac??

It was TOTALLY dismissed at the oscars.


I had some passing issues with it, but over all I think it was the best film of 2007 (Next to No country... and I'm not there).

The music was great. The CGI didn't over power the story (it Looked so real i couldn't tell the differents).The acting was superb and the direction was amazing too.

If you haven't seen it check it out.

I thought it was brilliant, everything about it was just so well done. I really was gripped throughout, its a long film but it just flew by for me. Robert Downey Jr is just such an underrated actor (though come Iron man and Tropic Thunder he will rule the film world), great thread for a great film.

Some great suspense scenes.

The part where they're interviewing Alan the first time was intense.

Doesn't hold up to a second viewing though. Also, the titles pissed me off. I know that it's a movie about obsession, but these fucking titles...

I loved the film too! Fincher is one of my favorite directors. The movie was amazing and totally overlooked at the oscars not even a nomination!

I saw it in the theater not thinking it was just going to be another stupid ass slasher flick but came out with a whole new view film making and story telling in general. This is probably Downey's best work, and when his character leaves the film your left wanting him back. Gyllenhaal was damn good to. Most of the songs in the film i had been listening to on regular bases, but never had they sounded so creepy!

It was just a great film!

If you wanna see a similar type of film then check out All The Presidents Men, its a great movie about the watergate scandal starring Dustin Hoffman, well worth seeing.

Zodiac was a good movie. I have yet to have a desire to watch it again, but Fincher is my idol and who i aspire to be as a filmmaker. It's shot digital, on the genisis system i believe, which is a big step for us new-age filmmakers who want to lean on using Digital instead of Film. I thought Zodiac looked amazing, visually, and a big step for filmmakers.
