iMac For Video

Im thinkling of a 20 inch 2.0GHz, 2GB RAM, 250 GB hard drive iMac. Im going to put Final Cut Pro 4 on. Then maby Final Cut Studio. I think this comuter will be good for video editing am I right?

It will be great for editing, and by the way, that is what indymogul uses for their editing, well they probably use FCS, but still, it is what they use. I have a macbook, and I am getting FCP4 as well. Everyone says it is awesome, especially my cousin who is in film school. Good luck.

You are right. Running FCP4 will be a cakewalk. FCS2 also runs very smoothly, especially when editing DV.

those gb go away fast so im just ssaying like im saying to everbody external hard drives are not that bad

opps i forgot to add that ill be getting a external hard drive when im runing out of space

if ur getting it used then its fine i guess but i would go 4, 24 inch 2.6 ghz, 4gb ram, 1 tb hard disk imac and just buy studio
