if you've seen the fast and the furious then you'll kno how the cars have flames shoot out of the exhaust when they are revving their engines before the race
im making a race movie and the karts dont actually work
im using camera tricks to make it look like it runs on its own
so i need stock footage of a thruster or something from behind and from the side
thanks

You might be able to find some stuff in Kathokatho's clips.

I'm on board with what 17th said - look for a free clip of flames. Take said clip into your editing prog. resize, position, filter, etc. to look like it's coming out of the exhaust. If your go-kart isn't mobile - I'm going to assume that you're going to chroma the scene so it shouldn't be that hard for you to pull off. Some clip art has a transparent background so you can try filming an actual moving go-kart on a real street or track then adding the flame in (in my opinion, it would be more genuine and really less work).
