HDV Editing HELP!

Hey, does anyone know where I can download (free) HDV footage to test if my PC can handle editing it?

What resolution / frame rate HDV files were you looking for? Let me know and I can see about throwing up some stock footage somewhere for you. Also what editing application will you be using?

Cheers devin, I managed to download an HD trailer to mess around with, at first I was a little woried, when I played it in the preview window (Vegas Platinum 8) it "stutterd" during transitions but I managed to get round that by preview rendering the transitions. Might get a bit tedious eventually but it's got to be done :)

You should be able to make a proxy to work with when you are doing previews and the when you render it out it'll be the proper HD footage.

Not sure if vegas can do that.
