Cliche Horror Movie Weapons?

Not Including the chainsaw. It's for a project. I'm not going to discuss the details YET but this would be a big help. all I'm gonna say that the main weapon is a wooden plank. What else could I use? P.S. this is an over the top EVIL DEAD esque horror movie so it's safe to assume I have extensive training in all the weapons you might suggest. However I would prefer they be household Items...

Using those weapons would make for an unforgettable slasher flick.

Medical equipment - syringes etc usually are used quite a bit, especially by psychotic/mutant type characters.

But why use cliche stuff? We had Santa kill using love. Thinking differently can be a big plus. I suggest trying something new.

How about a big ham bone? Something that will do the job but be unexpected.

A ham bone might be bordering on the comedy side a little too much, as you wouldn't really find one lying around that easily.
