Seems that you're mom is only trying to stop you from making movie. What could happen if you use a pillow? Nothing bad.

She think making movie will distract you from other important thing, like school.

So, take the fucking pillow and shot your sequence. Your mom is the weakest obstacle you will encounter in the movie making process. If you can't surpass her, you will never succed.
