Hello im new :hayguyz:, but i have been reading this form and have been watching BFX for a wile. I just got my first camera and its a "Sony Digital Camcorder", it only costed like 120 bucks.
But i was wondering if this is decent to make a movie kind of thing. :fcross:

EDIT: go here http://www.youtubereviews.com/camcorder-reviews/polaroid-3040s-digital-camcorder-review/ my camera is the first one they show.

You can make films on anything. this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5ftC5wyLvU) was filmed on a mobile phone! Its may not be the best quality but you can still make films and learn how to improve as you go along. If you feel you really want to get into serious film making and you need a better quality camera, at least you didnt spend a grand on a brilliant camera to find out you didn't want to make films!

you know you can make a video with a point and shoot camera but who cares if you have a good plot your video will go good but its 60-80 so its better then the msuket which cost 60 so you could have just spared up a little bit more money but you know as long as you dont wanna make a feature film that thing is good(oh and if you are im maybe gonna say thats what i call DIY)

i looked online and well lets see 120$ i saw it for 64$ on another website im not sure that camera will have the quality u r looking for but it should do to start out with the only down side is i had a tough time using sd cards on my old camera the quality was real bad i use to have a canon camera similar to the zr-800 but less res and had a sd option my mini dv part broke so i was forced to use the sd card instead and i just hated it... save up for a mini dv camera make sure it has a micophone input so u can add a microphone canon zr-800 is not bad i own it
