My camera doesn't have a mic input. Is there any chance of my movies sounding good without buying a new camera?

when on location i use my laptop with audacity and plug my shotgun mic into my laptop its more gear to take with you but it works

o u hook up your mic to it. record your audio and then out the CD in your computer, and then upload the audio into your NLE?

well yeah if you got the right drive or it some come with a cord and program to put and take stuff off
but what i do what i do with a laptop and just hook up a plug from the headphones jack on the recorder to the mic input on the latop

so you stream the audio while you're recording? well, could i take it with me on a shoot record to a CD and then put the CD in my computer?

One of those cheap voice recorders will do as long as it has a mic jack.
