I think my favourite part about this is you had to lie to your parents to get something and then refer to everyone else as "kids".

And why lie about a party? Just be honest. Lie about the drug use of course but let them know where you'll be because you don't know what's going to happen.

at least you didnt go to a cinema to see it and then discover that its only in frickin stereo and not surround sound and that the room has so terrible acoustics you cant hear any of the dialogue.

I know we all lie to our parents, but why lie about something so menial? They'd be much happier to know where you were so if anything did go wrong they would know where to be in that situation. I see no reason as to why they wouldn't let you go if you were honest and let them know that you wouldn't drink or smoke...

To this day, I don't lie to my parents. I've avoided the truth many times, but I've never lied to them. You should have just said you were going to hang out with some friends. We all have different parents so it's hard to say how your's would respond to you just saying that you were going to hang out with friends. Mine didn't really care because they knew I would either make the right decisions or be ready to face the consequences.

Urgh... don't remind me. Not to mention the noise of the bar behind, the non-tiered seats and too much ambient light. I couldn't get immersed in the film at all because of the distractingly bright emergency exit signs... :supermad:

I haven't seen it but for all i know this could have happened: First his parents die, then he zapped by radiation and his skin turns to iron, bad guy comes, iron man kicks him in the nuts, bad guy leaves and they all live happily ever after.
You've got it all wrong...IRON MAN gets kicked in the nuts not the bad guy. But since he's iron man his nuts are iron which shatter the bad guy's foot. Then he leaves and they all live happliy ever after.

Haha me too! Blu-ray is excellent!

However, when I saw Iron Man for the second time. There was this like 2-year-old somewhere in the far back left corner from where I was sitting. I got so pissed off because on every quiet scene the kid would wine, it was soooooo annoying.

I started to make fun of him and when the movie ended, I capped his ass with a Swedish fish I had in my hand. I'm not sure if I got him though.

Well I wasn't referring to the ops drug use. I'd assume someone on this forum wouldn't be that dumb. But if he's willing to lie about the party the odds of one drug or another (whether it be boose, tobacco or other) are extremely high.
