Well standards are high at my school, anybody who is found to be on an Internet forum is instantly denounced as a nerd and gets the piss taken out of them. The fan fiction writers were the first to go, their stories were found and the piss was taken out of them. Then there was the bloggers, they'd been writing about school events under a pseudonym and all their embarassing secrets were discovered. Now its gotten out of hand, its like Stalin's purges. People with youtube accounts with embarassing comments, Amazon accounts with nerdish reviews: all internet users are being slaughtered by the social standards of or school.

Its dam obvious its me too, I'm doing A-Level Film Studies next year and everybody knows I want to be filmmaker. Hell, I'm even a fan of Indy Mogul on Facebook. I suppose at least nobody can see my high post count. I'll just hope for the best. I hate social expectations.

Seriously. I know right now school is where all of your interactions take place and for the next couple o' years it's really important to fit in and all that other crap but don't believe any of it.

I can tell you as a working adult "nerd" that outside of those walls, we run shit.

Once you go to college you'll find that the people that actually made it to a good college are just like you. Nerdy people on messages boards who secretly liked all of the things you did in highschool and in college you'll be able to finally meet like minded individuals.

Remember, it's when Peter Gibbons stopped caring that he really started to enjoy life. Do the same.
