Detonation films are stock footage clips of explosions, gun shots and other goodies against a solid color background. As long as your program has a keying program/feature, you will be good to go.

I have pinnacle studio, and it doesn't seem to work with that.
Chroma keying only seems to work if you're using green.

if you have it you can also use luma key

you can use it with the newer versions of pinnacle, I think 10+, just click the Luma keyer, I have done it when I used to use pinnacle 11.
