Really need help

Sorry if this has already been posted but. I've put an explosion in sony vegas pro 8 i've done all the chroma a stuff like that but i just don't know how i can get it to happen behind me rather that being in front of me

Easiest way would be to green screen yourself, then layer yourself, the explosion, then the background. Other than that, you have to crop around your body, then go frame by frame cropping, then layer it the same.

have 3 layers

the first layer is the footage of you.

the layer on top of that is of the explosion but have it cover you entirely

the later on top of both of them is JUST you. Use masking to edit frame by frame a layer of just yourself. so you see nothing else

Masking is what I meant.
