I swear I tried to find this, so if it's been asked before, I did try.
What settings does IndyMogul use for their videos? Such as size and format?

search for the Weekend extra for youtube encoding, they say those are the settings that they use.

Ahh yes! Thank you! I totally forgot about that one.
If anyone else needs them, here they are...
First, make sure to De-Interlace
Adjust the Brightness, Contrast, RGB Balance, and Gamma correction to make everything look good
Export your movie as MPEG-4
The Size is 640X480 or 640X360 for widescreen
Make the Data Rate as high as you can to keep your file under 100 MB
Use 30 fps
For your audio settings, pick anything above 128kbps
Did I miss anything?
Oh yeah, apparently you have to get a Mac. :loco::thumbsdown:

They don't encode their videos for youtube though. They just put them on there for advertising. They use their own server I think. If you encode for YouTube it will look like crap on your computer.

It's good to have two separate encodings, one for YouTube, one for everything else, plus your uncompressed version however you choose to store that.
I made an in-depth tutorial that can be found in this (http://forum.indymogul.com/showthread.php?t=9758) thread.

What is a good setting for youtube encoding. I have tried the indymogul way, and countless other ways (it is very frustrating). What ways have worked good for you guys?
I am using a Canon HV20 and Final Cut Express
