Anyways i need a device prop that looks like it coudl reverse time. At the moment i am thinking of a pocket watch but it needs somthing to look better but i cant think of anything. So any sugestions to make it look better or a diffrent prop?

Time travel devices/props... pocket watches have been used, as have hourglasses, television remotes, and Deloreans... why not something unusual and off the wall? In the watch/clock category, you could use a stopwatch, chess clock, egg timer, or something like an electronic thermometer with a probe. You could do something a simple as a box with a button and a light. Press the button, the light goes on and viola! you are in the past.
Find an app and use an iPhone or iTouch or even an iPod as a travel device. Make or find an old parchment, like the Marauders Map in HP. Use that as a device... look at Time Bandits for that reference.

A time machine can be whatever you want it to be - elaborate or simple, time reference (clock/watch) or not, big or small, etc. We have no real time machine to relate a prop one to, so no one is going to complain if it's setup properly.
Take Time Belt from Channel101 for example http://www.channel101.com/shows/show.php?show_id=8 It's a tinfoil belt with colored construction paper/cardboard circles instead of a belt buckle that sends Dr. Bloom through time. Nothing complicated or directly related to time, but it's setup so that you get the idea that it sends him through time and you don't question it later. |
