Writing a TREATMENT for TV-SHOW

For my Media writing class in college I gotta write a treatment for a proposed show. My teacher describes a Treatment as:

..a precise, third person, present tense summary of the proposed show. The purpose is to spell out the idea behind the show into a more detailed presentation and your creative approach to the story.

Her example is split into Acts. Im just wondering how you split a 22 minute show into different Acts (Act I , Act II, etc)

You can read From Reel to Deel it has about section under screen writing about writing a treatment.

You can't ask your teacher? You are there to learn, right?

The details of how it's broken down depends upon commercial breaks, which varies a little between channels and countries.

For a half-hour, you'll have between two and four commercial breaks. One of the common ways to break it down is have three acts, preceded by a cold open. Sometimes there is a "tag" that follows act 3.
