A group project we did for my intro to film class. I acted and wrote the script with my friend brianna who also directed.

wow that was not good. sound quality was horrible & video quality was below par. it just wasn't engaging at all. no hook, no foreshadowing, it was just completely bland and boring.

thank you for the feedback..it ws made on a quick basis so i understand why u think the video quality was bad...we were trying to be daylight...but once again thank you for your feedback..

The dialogue sounded really real, was it improv?

But yeah, the sound wasn't amazing, and you should have moved the camera. Also, I saw that coming...
But nice idea, it could be be executed better though.

Very nice. I like this style and how the first scene was planned is superb. They feel a bit long, but when they aren't planned long ahead that's the first thing one can expect easily to happen. Main things are that your acting is this good and your story is charming.

Yes, it was improv. We are trying this style out called mumblecore. It's films that dont use a script and the dialouge is completely imrpovised except you use non-actors to play the lead role.

We hated the sound too. We were thinking of re-shooting but we had to turn it in. Now, after our first project, we are going to be able to rent out lavalier mics so the sound should improve drastically. We are coming out with another one in like 2 weeks. I didn't direct this one, but I understood that the director didn't have time to get multiple shots of us. But trust me. This was just a try out. The next one is going to be much better.

Basically, we just had one goal to go....and we went for it. We grabbed random people too. Uhm not exactly....
